ISSUE #12: OPEN CALL FOR CONTRIBUTORS!

Work on issue #12 has already begun and the goal is to get it published in March! That is a good couple months away, so if you’ve been considering getting your zine feet wet, there is no time like the present!

Artists! If you can draw anything more complicated than a stick figure, you are more of an artist than I ever will be, so how about you showcase your amazing drawing skills in the new issue? You could do the cover, a coloring book section, your very own comic strip, a step-by-step tutorial - anything goes really if we can work out the details! The crazier, the better!

Writers! We like to ramble about fast (punk, ska, hardcore) and slow (reggae, hip-hop) music, boomer video-games, gnarly movies, mind-bending science/sci-fi, the craziness of everyday life and a ton more random stuff. Would you like to present your local scene, intimate knowledge of obscure/cool shit, passion or random thoughts on whatever it is that is grinding your gears? If you have a sense of humor and can organize your thoughts, lets work something out!

Photographers! Some people think that you get in the way of the action, but I think that your pictures of live shows are what get people interested in finding out about a band or scene, before they even get to listen to one note. If you go to shows and take pictures of bands and crows going off, how about you send some our way so that you can inspire others to pick a camera or guitar? That would be most excellent. I tend to use my entry-level smartphone and the result is embarrassing.

If you have any other ideas and would like to contribute something to the next issue, please send a message and we can talk details! You are also entitled to one (1) free high/lo five if you share this post so that more people know what’s up! By the way, thanks for taking the time to read so far!

See you soon!
